This Fund administered by the Rabbi, is used to support families, persons and institutions as well as Jewish education and crisis intervention situations. The Torah requires that we give Tzedakah to help our fellow human beings and a gift to the Torah Fund is an excellent way to fulfill this Mitzvah.
For a lasting gift you may donate money to purchase Siddurim (prayer books) and Chumashim. Each book will be appropriately inscribed and installed in the sanctuary or chapel for regular use. Cost – $45.00 for a Siddur and $72.00 for a Chumash.
For a donation that is appreciated by the entire congregation, your gift is used to support Shabbat and Yom Tov congregational Kiddushim after Services.
Your donation is used to stock and maintain the special synagogue library dedicated to our own Jason Yehoshua Friedberg Z’‘L whose life was tragically ended by Arab terrorists in Israel.
On a happy note, your gift will be used to provide professional training and material for our volunteer synagogue choir.
