Resilience Fund

On October 7th our community’s world as we knew it changed. We continue to watch the war play out and pray for the safety of our brothers and sisters in Israel, especially the return of those who were kidnapped. At the same time, the effects of what is happening in Israel has begun to have an impact on our local community: Riots in our universities, bullets shot in our educational institutions and a firebombing at the doors of our beloved synagogue, our house of hope.

Despite this we have shown the world, and ourselves, that we are truly a resilient group and are steadfast in our determination to continue serving this community. To this end, we are launching the Resilience Fund, focused on supporting our immediate needs at Beth Tikvah and in our community.

This fund will support:

Increasing safety needs, both of our building and our members
Introducing advocacy and advocacy education programs
Strengthening extended community relations
Providing a sanctuary for prayer and Jewish education
Continuing community engagement programs
